Job Summary

The Lewis Honors College at the University of Kentucky is accepting applications for an Academic Advisor II. The Academic Advisor II will work with high-achieving students through direct one-on-one advising, including but not limited to providing information on course selection and registration, interpreting and explaining university and college policies and degree requirements, assisting students in identifying skill interest and career options, and advising students on academic-related issues specific to that individual student. The Academic Advisor II will regularly monitor student progress to degree, considering current coursework, as well as any previously earned credit to assist the student with maintaining timely degree completion. In addition to these responsibilities, the Academic Advisor II will assist with multiple orientation and recruitment events throughout the year.
