Job Summary
This is a part time, adjunct appointment in the Skilled Trades Division at the Leestown campus. The position requires flexibility of scheduling, which will require evening and possible mid-day classes based on availability.
Most classes will be taught from 5:00PM - 9:50PM weekdays only. Position could work one night or multiple nights based on need.

Job Duties:
- Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice of the various aspects of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration related subject areas.
- Prepares lessons, maintains records, and reports on students’ attainment and progress.
- Maintains order and discipline and provides ethics and employability training within course taught.
- Ensures that appropriate safety policies and procedures are developed and implemented in the HVAC Laboratories.
- Maintains program equipment and Lab areas.
- Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps course material up to date.
- Participates in professional development and training activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise in the area taught.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications*:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
OR - Associate degree AND related work experience AND required certifications (Ky. Journeyman HVAC License and Universal EPA Certification)
