Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours as needed.
Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Counselor will conduct mental health assessments, diagnosis mental health disorders, and provide direct clinical counseling to help patients deal with personal, social and mental health issues through individual, family and group counseling. This individual will work closely with other mental health providers to provide a comprehensive treatment plan.
