Job Summary

The Business and Technology Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for Accounting, Business and Economics Adjunct Instructors to teach all levels of Accounting, Business and Economics.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. These positions may teach on any of our Jefferson’s campus.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline and a Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline required. A valid CPA license is also required for accounting instructors.

Candidates who have experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and with a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials.
