Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Content Developer to join the HBS Foundry team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality educational materials, including micro-learning segments, videos, quizzes, and interactive content, designed to engage and support entrepreneurs. You will work closely with the Content Manager, Instructional Designer, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure all content aligns with learning objectives and resonates with a global entrepreneurial audience. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the learning experiences that empower individuals to launch and grow successful ventures
Position Description
Responsibilities Include:
Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and actionable educational content for entrepreneurs, including videos, articles, quizzes, interactive exercises, and multimedia resources that drive learning and practical application.
- Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and platform standards.
- Collaborate with the visual and multimedia teams to create visually compelling content that enhances the learner experience and is easy to navigate.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and faculty to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and accessible for a global entrepreneurial audience.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all content to ensure it meets HBS Foundry’s standards for instructional design, learner engagement, and overall quality.
- Continuously update and revise existing content based on learner feedback, performance data, and industry developments in entrepreneurship education.
- Organize, update, and manage content within the platform’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is accessible, well-structured, and easy to navigate for learners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field required
- 3+ years of experience in content development, content production, or a similar role, preferably within an educational or entrepreneurship context.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with multimedia development, including video production and interactive tools, is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning content development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality in all produced content.
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, SMEs, and media production teams.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and continuously improve content based on feedback and data insights.
Additional Information
This position is approved as a term appointment with an end date of 06.30.26. There is a possibility of renewal/extension.
This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday – Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.
