Job Summary
Responsible for Patient Health Record management, collaboration across the enterprise and outside to meet patient, healthcare and provider needs. Maintains accuracy of the patient healthcare record through accurate scanning and assignment of provider deficiencies. Responds to requests for audits and release of information following all HIPAA, governmental regulatory, enterprise and departmental policies, and Joint Commission standards.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
EMR experience, computer applications, scanning, basic medical terminology, HIPAA competency.

Preferred Education/Experience
Associate degree and/or four years of previous electronic medical record experience in a hospital setting are preferred.
