We are hiring an Industrial Mechanic at our Winder, GA plant. We are searching for individuals who are dependable, responsible and quality-minded who have a history of working safely in a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency in the facility.
The rate of pay is $31.14 per hour to start, plus benefits that include health, dental, vision, 401K plan, life insurance, and tuition assistance.
Will train on days but may be required to move to rotating schedule. Rotating schedule is a 2-2-3 / 12 hour shifts (days/nights). Must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends.
What You Bring to the Team
- High school diploma or GED - technical or vocational certification a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Welding experience and knowledge is required
- Repair experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings
- Must be able to occasionally lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check and medical clearance
