Our client’s office is in Teaneck, NJ. Their building has many amenities, including a spa & gym (discounted for tenants), Starbucks, deli, restaurant, and covered, free secured parking connected to the building. Currently implemented hybrid office (3 days)/work from home (2 days). New employees will be expected to spend more time in the office until fully trained before going to hybrid mode. Travel to client sites, while not extensive, is occasionally required, especially during client training and when going live.

As the MIS Integration Analyst, your primary role is integrating data systems with the company's Synapse 3PL Expert WMS (Warehouse Management System) software. This is accomplished by developing and supporting integration projects using Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) and Cleo Clarify Studio Cloud edition. Integration formats include but are not limited to, flat file, JSON, XML, X12 EDI, EDIFACT, and Database. In addition, you will work with Legacy integration tools to set up and support flat file integrations as needed.  You will also support the Communication Analyst with the setup and support of various communication methods (AS2, different types of FTP, etc) using Cleo Harmony.

This MIS Integration Analyst role requires a strong foundation in Client Management, including software configuration, data integration, and 3rd party Windows applications; this person must understand the customer's data flow in and out of their custom warehouse environment and how our products interact with each other. It requires you to lead/oversee the integration process, including troubleshooting and problem-solving, to suit the customer’s needs. The ability to interface with cross-functional teams (i.e., Customer Service, Software Developers, Infrastructure, QA, etc.) and/or external people (i.e., customers, sub-contractors, etc.) to accomplish the customer’s goals will be essential for your success. You will be expected to collaborate with customers to gather requirements, define the scope of work, ascertain the business objective, and develop new user-demanded features and functionality. Also, you will help guide and train clients on and off-site. You must also have a working knowledge of data movement principles and technology.

To succeed, you should have:        

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education through vocational training, certifications, or on-the-job training.
  • 5+ years of experience with application integration
  • 5+ years of experience with two or more of the following:
    • Working with standard API or web service data formats such as XML and JSON
    • Experience with ANSI/ASC X12 EDI, as well as non X12 file formats
    • Experience as an EDI Analyst
    • Experience integrating with ERP/WMS software.         Experience in the 3rd Party Logistics industry is preferred. 
    • Experience with Cleo Integration Cloud and Cleo Clarify Studio or similar EDI/Data Translation software. 
    • Experience with Oracle, SQL Developer or Toad, Crystal Reports, NiceLabel or another label software a plus. 
    • Experience with customer support applications. Experience with various electronic communication standards (FTP, sFTP, AS2, VAN, SOAP/REST web services)

Your responsibilities as the MIS Integration Analyst will include utilizing your skills and talents to perform the following successfully:

  • Manages integration project life cycle
    • Analyzes and defines integration requirements for clients, especially for needs and circumstances that are slightly unusual.
    • Provides advice and education to clients concerning integration guidelines and capabilities.
    • Creates, develops, and produces mapping documents.
    • Conducts unit testing.
    • Assists customers and trading partners with Business Scenario Testing / User Acceptance Testing.
    • Deploys projects to production in coordination with the customer and trading partner.
  • Collaborates with programmers and internal staff to develop and test new or modified systems.
  • Periodically reviews system to ensure client needs are met; identifies possible modifications as required.
  • Remains current regarding data integration technological developments.
  • Monitor and accept customer support tickets, providing solutions and answers that address the issue.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
