Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Plastic Injector position is accountable for:
  • This position is responsible for operating a plastic injection machine to produce a variety of parts
  • Responsible for quality of the pieces you shoot
  • Meeting department production needs
  • Responsible for showing the supervisor first piece you shoot on each setup
  • Responsible for parameters (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder) set in these machines
  • Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. if set up or operation of machine is mechanically difficult or other problems exist
  • Visually inspect parts for various defects

Organization Location: 3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114

Monday – Friday 2pm - 10:30pm

Salary: $17 /hr.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine
  • General Manufacturing Experience
  • Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team

While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury. This position requires anywhere from light to moderate physical activity, such as walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time, as well as some lifting.
