Howmet Aerospace, is looking to fill a Production Support I position. Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm. Position supports the production of highly engineered aerospace fasteners as formed from exotic alloy wire on precision high-speed heading equipment. The purpose of this position is to support the following:
Increased (factor of 6 times) cycle counting requirements flowed down by Corporate in 2024
Weigh count of completed components to support adjusting yield factors at a component level- part of a critical strategy to mitigate material inflation
Support pre-assembly component match to enable assemblers to stay focused on testing and assembly
Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desired or have a background working with machinery.
Must be able to walk continuously for hours, capable of lifting 25 pounds, certification in mobile equipment, ability to converse with others in a supplier/customer relationship. Training in oil storage and handling.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred but not required
