SUMMARY:

Make phone calls to obtain medical records and bills for clients as quickly as possible to allow them to settle their cases in a timely manner. Process medical records and constantly find a better way to get the job done and improve efficiency, and then communicating learns to coworkers. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Provide prompt and effective customer service to Legal Assistants.
  • Able to meet daily/weekly performance expectations, as outlined by the MSP scorecard.
  • Quickly and efficiently make calls to providers to follow up on requests for medical records and bills.
  • Process medical records and bills as they come in to make them available to the law firm
  • Build and mend relationships with providers and be able to negotiate with difficult providers.
  • Keep the total number of records older than 45 days at or below the par value as assigned to your firm by your Team Lead or Assistant Coach.
  • Keep the total number of records older than 30 days at or below the par value as assigned to the firm by the Team Lead or Assistant Coach.
  • Complete Provider Address within 4-7 days.
  • Maintain the firm’s average day to receive records at par as assigned by the Team Lead.
  • Maintain work quality as determined by QA reviews.
  • Complete cancellations of requests for records within 24 hours

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

·         High school diploma or equivalent required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

This role is not a supervisor position.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
