Senior Software Engineer – Auto TechLabs, Inc. – White Plains, NY

Job Duties: Collaboratively drive the development and support of AutoNation’s digital presence including high volume web and mobile applications. Develop and work in an agile delivery model as well as provide review and guidance to other developers to ensure adherence to standards and best practices in the definition of technical requirements as well as design and development of the solution based on user stories. Analyze, design, and develop digital, web, and mobile web application solutions and enhancements that meet requirements. Ensure adherence to programming and enterprise architectural standards. Complete work assignments and perform appropriate follow up to ensure that tasks are completed on time. Collaborate with product owners, application users, creative team, QA, PMO, DevOps, and other developers to define requirements, design, and development of the web application. Assist in the rollout of new applications, problem fixes, and software enhancements. Support configuration management and deployments of code and configuration items across environments to production. Create consistent and accurate technical and end-user documentation of implemented applications. Support the QA team on automation and other scripting requirements. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Must have 5 years of experience as an Application Developer or a related occupation developing websites and web-based applications, including demonstrated experience in: building and developing responsive and adaptive web sites and web-based applications; building web-based applications that are supported across browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, & IE) and across operating systems (Windows, iOS, and Android); Agile and Waterfall SDLC delivery; technical design and development; Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, Bootstrap, and SASS/LESS; application performance tuning and optimization; mission critical systems; problem solving; and debugging. Annual salary offered: $169,229 - $175,000. May work remotely from any U.S. location.
