The Service Detail Lead is responsible for work allocation, supervision and training of a team of detail technicians to assure efficient and productive team performance.     

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Schedule and assign daily work objectives for the service detail technicians
  • Monitor performance and counsel service detail technicians with behavioral or performance issues
  • Train, coach, supervise and assist the service detail technicians
  • Maintain a safe and efficient shop area that is free of hazards
  • Maintain an objective assessment of each service detail technician's training, skills and abilities
  • With the assistance of the service consultant and service manager, chart the performance of each service detail technician
  • Coordinate ongoing training for the service detail technicians and maintain a log of the completed training and certifications received
  • Maintain a schedule of the service detail technician absences for training, vacation or personal reasons to assure proper staffing to meet work demands
  • Conduct team meetings with the service consultants and service detail technicians to assess prior day performance and review work assignments for the day 

 
What are the requirements for this job?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience (preferred)

Compensation: This role pays $25.00 per hour
