Job Summary
The STEPS HR Auxiliary Services Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily administrative functions within the Auxiliary Services HR department. This position requires strong attention to detail for tasks such as reconciling departmental activity records, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring the accuracy of documentation.
With a focus on organizational support, the HR Operations Assistant will assist in recruitment and pre-boarding activities, managing applicant reviews, coordinating interview schedules, and handling communication with candidates. This role involves preparing necessary documents, coordinating logistics, and facilitating a smooth recruitment process from initial contact to final selection.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the flexibility to take on various administrative tasks as needed. Cross-training opportunities in payroll and HR systems (such as UKG Dimensions and SAP) will enhance the HR Operations Assistant’s ability to support key processes within Auxiliary Services. A proactive approach to identifying improvements in workflows and a high level of confidentiality are essential for success in this role.
This position is well-suited for an individual who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to contribute to both operational and HR support functions with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
