POSITION:  Substitute Custodian, SY 2024-25 Talent Pool 

LOCATION(S): Buildings & Grounds 

REPORTS TO: School Principal, Head Custodian, and Custodial Manager

SUPERVISES:N/A

POSITION SUMMARY:This position performs manual cleaning, maintenance, repair, storage, and furniture moving tasks both inside and outside the building.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, and equipment used in large public buildings
  • Knowledge of simple maintenance and repair work and the materials and tools required
  • Ability to understand the relationship between a clean and healthy environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups
  • Ability to understand and carry out direct instructions
  • Must be able to work within difficult time constraints and under stressful conditions

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Non-certified

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per diem employee: $16.00/hr. Position Subject to Available Funding. An Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/V/D
