We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineering professional to join our Water Resources team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on wastewater, drinking water and/or stormwater projects. Project management experience would be a plus for this role. Candidates with a higher level of experience are welcome to apply.

In this position, the candidate will:

  • Work as a project engineer and/or project manager with responsibility for wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects.
  • May supervise work groups which include engineers and/or technicians.
  • Ensure project designs are in conformance with the latest design specifications.
  • Perform design quantity computations and checks.
  • Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for projects.
  • Provide mentorship to junior level staff.
  • Understand and work with surveying data provided from survey department.
  • Read and interpret schematic and construction plans.
  • Apply a variety of specification regulations, policies and standards to assure compliance with various Federal, State, and local rules and regulations.
  • Review operational practices to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures.
  • Complete other duties as needed.

Qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or other applicable engineering field
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 7+ years of experience in this discipline
  • Experience as project engineer or project manager for wastewater, drinking water, and/or stormwater design projects 
  • Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
