Diversity at our agency means fostering a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person's talent and strengths.&nbsp; Position Counselor PT, SP-SRO&nbsp; Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time&nbsp; Location St. James Terrace&nbsp; Salary $19.00/hr.&nbsp; Days/Hours Saturday &amp; Sunday; 4pm-12am&nbsp; Description Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Evening Counselor&nbsp;Counselor to be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator in the delivery of direct services to the clients, as well assisting in the overall running of the site.&nbsp; The counselor provides a variety of services, ranging form the teaching of skills to delivery of concrete services to providing counseling to the clients.Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Provides direct care services to clients.</li><li>Responsible for documentation of clients assigned to as well as documentation relating to other clients progress.</li><li>Monitors the site, coordinates and participates in house activities such as preparation of meals, chore activities, recreational activities, safety checks etc.</li><li>Provide rehabilitative support services in daily living skills, health services and others as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors medication; does medication counts; prepares medication sheets.</li><li>Assists with transportation of clients.</li><li>Performs unit inspections, trains and assists residents to maintain cleanliness of individual units</li><li>Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.</li></ul> Salary: $19.00/hr.&nbsp; Position Requirements Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.Concern Housing offers an Agency Sponsored Retirement Plan and Employee Sponsored 403(b) Retirement Plan for part time employees.
