(Per Diem) - flexible hours!DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>To provide safe and clean transportation for, admissions, discharges, appointments, outside meetings, residences, or other locations as determined or requested by, clinical, medical or admissions.</li><li>Maintain all Caron trainings through net learning as well as classroom.</li><li>Once a trip is accepted, you are responsible for maintaining a personal reminder for scheduled trips.</li><li>Drive within a 250-mile radius, or further if required.</li><li>Responsible for all trip related paperwork, pre and post</li><li>Responsible for refueling vehicle after trip is complete.</li><li>Must be able to learn limited computer tasks like but not limited to checking emails, completing work orders and or incident reports on a computer.</li><li>Must be available to the department to perform other duties.</li><li>Responsible for keeping the vehicles clean inside, food and drinks are prohibited.</li><li>Report any vehicle related issues immediately to the on-duty dispatcher or the supervisor of transportation.</li><li>Always maintain a professional demeanor.</li><li>Provide quality customer service.</li><li>Adhere to all Caron policies as well as transportation procedures and guidelines.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:<ul><li>Must be able to climb up and down stairs.</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. In and out of vehicles and up and down stairs.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must be 25 years of age or older.</li><li>Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Driving Standards Policy</li><li>Must meet minimum requirements on Motor Vehicle Reports in accordance with Driving Standards Policy.</li><li>If recovering, a minimum of one year of continuous sobriety is preferred.</li><li>CPR and First Aid certifications, these will be obtained upon starting employment at Caron. It is your responsibility to maintain these as needed through Caron training thereafter.</li><li>Neloxone/Narcan certification must be obtained during 1st day of inner Dept. training</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>Must be able to get along with clients and staff.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours.</li><li>Must be able to read maps, understand and navigate via GPS.</li></ul>COMPETENCE MEASUREMENT:<ul><li>Transport patients in a professional manner – Measured through patient surveys, staff feedback.</li><li>Proficiency in reading maps and following driving directions – observation through length of time necessary to complete trips and staying on route.</li><li>Safe driving record – observation through law enforcement activity and absence of vehicular damage.</li></ul>

Must be flexible with schedule when given enough notice to do so. This will be measured through observation</li><li>Must be competent in assess campus fire alarm systems. This will be measured through observation.</li><li>Ability to follow through with requests as directed by the Supervisor of Maintenance, Lead Maintenance Technician and/ or Manager of Facilities. This will be measured by work orders and observation.</li><li>Must be able to properly use tools pertaining to the Maintenance Department. This will be measured by observation and documentation.</li><li>Must have and maintain a set of hand tools essential for the job. This will be measured by observation</li><li>Ability to interact and work together with fellow coworkers, patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner in a team setting.
