Police Officers attend the Police Academy and training sessions, and actively participate in all academy and training activities to learn the skills, knowledge, and functions required to become a sworn police officer. The Part-Time Parks and Recreation Teens Program Assistant will assist in the development, coordination, and supervision of recreational programs and activities specifically designed for teens. This role is responsible for ensuring a positive, engaging, and safe environment for teen participants, promoting inclusion, leadership, teamwork, and healthy social interactions. The position requires working nights and weekends to accommodate teen programming schedules; and, performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications Ability to read, write and follow instructions; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience. Must have a Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License and a Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Level 1 required upon hire. Candidates must be available to work afternoons starting after 1 PM, as well as nights and weekends. Desired Experience/Knowledge:The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
