Working four-night shifts, three days off, work three-day shifts, one day off, work three-night shifts, three days off and work four-day shifts, then seven days off.What You Bring to the Team:<ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li><li>1+ years of verified experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings.</li><li>Ability to write routine reports and correspondence legibly.</li><li>Computer skills (Microsoft Office).</li><li>Experience with machine safety.</li><li>Experience with lockout/tagout.</li><li>Lift truck operations, JLG, etc. and the ability to obtain a license to operate.</li></ul>Your Day to Day:<ul><li>Be an active participant in the safety process and practice safe work habits at all times.</li><li>Perform mechanical preventative maintenance according to an established schedule on all equipment.&nbsp; Inspect machinery, lubricate and make adjustments or repairs as needed and take faulty equipment out of operation until repaired.</li><li>Effectively troubleshoot all mechanical equipment to identify issues and take necessary corrective actions to repair, replace or rebuild.</li><li>Maintain an open and candid working relationship with coworkers from all departments and immediate supervisor/manager.</li><li>Perform other job functions as requested to support the effective and efficient operation of the plant, including duties of other classifications.</li><li>Read, interpret and follow blueprints and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete the job.</li><li>Make out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc., and perform other clerical duties necessary to maintain proper records relative to the work performed.</li><li>Inspects/maintains plant buildings and maybe required to cast concrete forms and bollards as needed.</li><li>Operate, maintain, inspect, lubricate and repair all plant systems as required.</li><li>Familiar with maintenance management software systems with light keyboarding skills to post time, materials, comments and feedback on work orders.&nbsp; To initiate or create reactive work orders for urgent type of work which arises on a shift.</li><li>Reads, interprets and follows complex blueprints, diagrams, and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete job.</li><li>May operate mobile equipment.</li><li>During cleanouts and emergencies, will work with Maintenance A employees, performing any duties to get equipment back into operations in minimum time.</li><li>Makes out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc., and performs other clerical duties necessary to maintain proper records relative to the work performed.</li><li>Must maintain the necessary tools for above classification where required and be proficient in their use and care.</li><li>Always use safe work practices, follow all safety rules and procedures, immediately report any hazardous conditions, and fully participate in safety programs.</li><li>Wear all personal protective equipment as required by management, including but not limited to all or some of the following; protective shoes, glasses, ear plugs, bump cap or hard hat, gloves, dust mask, or respirator.</li><li>Complete monthly CBTs or other training as required.</li><li>Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly at all times.</li><li>Complete all necessary training assignments.</li><li>Complete SAP data entry.</li><li>Performs other related duties as directed including duties of lower classification.&nbsp; Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.&nbsp; The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and communicate accurately with coworkers.&nbsp; The employee will frequently engage in repetitive motions.&nbsp; The employee must frequently, lift, push or pull 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
