POSITION SUMMARY Assist with daily operations of the User Support Services Assist by helping students, faculty, and staff with technology-related issues and questions and by helping computer lab technicians and media services with technology setups.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides Help Desk phone support to the Nashville State community. Answers questions about hardware/software configurations. Performs password resets. Records work in the Help Desk ticketing system. Assists computer lab technician and media services with set up and delivery of technology equipment and services for classrooms, offices, and campus events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience with maintaining and answering questions about technology equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs a variety of police duties such as patrolling the assigned area(s) to detect/deter crime and arrest violators to ensure security and safety people and property. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Patrols the campus by foot, bicycle, or motor vehicle. Investigates suspected crimes, report findings, and arrest suspected individuals. Testifies in a court of legal proceedings. Investigates accidents involving persons or property, report probable cause of accidents, pursue an appropriate course of action, and ensure that all incidents and arrest activities are properly documented. Proficiently operates law enforcement equipment (including lethal and non-lethal weapons necessary in the performance of required duties). Keeps records and prepares reports (offense, arrest, fire system, emergency phones, alarm systems, and mechanical equipment). Provides escorts and/or makes bank deposits or special mail deliveries. Ensures traffic control and enforcement. Checks doors and locks and responds to lockouts. Identifies potential security-related conditions and takes the lead in problem-solving through partnerships to develop prevention strategies. Provides safety, crime prevention, and community policing information to contacts over the course of patrol duties. CLEVELAND STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE is accepting applications for the following position: Adjunct Faculty Pool - Reading
Instructors provide quality instruction for student learning and maintain a positive learning environment in the class. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online. Instructors also communicate with students between classes and are responsible for several administrative duties such as reporting on academic activity and submitting final grades.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi and departmental guidelines.
2. Beginning and ending all classes as scheduled and covering all relevant learning outcomes for each course.
3. Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning, communicating with students weekly, and answering student emails in a timely manner.&nbsp;
4. Evaluating students using a variety of methods and informing each student of scores received on each assessment in a timely manner.
5. Using Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and responding to student questions via Cleveland State email in a timely manner.&nbsp;
6. Meeting deadlines for all administrative requests such as submitting personnel paperwork, acknowledging contracts, academic activity and assessment reports, and final grades.&nbsp;
7. Submitting requests through the department chair, program coordinator/director, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids.
Qualifications:&nbsp;
&nbsp;A Bachelor’s degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited institution. Three years teaching experience preferred.&nbsp; Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes recommended – hybrid, online, interactive, etc.
