Job Duties
The assistant coach instructs and teaches the fundamentals of baseball technique and strategy. This position will assist with duties including but not limited to: recruitment of student-athletes, travel planning, equipment maintenance, field maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Typical duties will include coaching, possessing the technical knowledge and teaching skills to prepare baseball student-athletes for competitions. POSITION SUMMARY Administering a high availability distributed system environment. The administrator will work very closely with the Technology Services Division staff to meet business and technical demands. Helps with solutions to problems that may arise in an expeditious, efficient, and timely manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Installs, configures and manages physical and virtual servers in support of applications utilized by the College. • Coordinate and teach the Technology Foundations academic support program for students in applied mathematics, graphic literacy, and reading for information.
• Teach the Work Ethics curriculum with basic computer skills, college success and career skills.

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline.

<li>Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in higher education or one (1) year teaching experience and three (3) years employment in the field.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) position assists in the repair and maintenance of the College’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other internal systems such as doors, keys and locksets. The College is seeking PM Tech’s to assist our trade supervisors in the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC. These duties include but are not limited to: working on door closers, hinges and doors, installing sheetrock, changing filters, greasing pumps, cleaning coils, changing belts, greasing and changing bearings, servicing pumps &amp; motors, repairing toilets &amp; sinks, and servicing/maintaining/tracking equipment and inventory relevant to the department. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times. This position reports to the Director and Executive Director of Plant Operations.

<li>Typical Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</li>
<li>Perform a variety of tasks in the installation, repair and maintenance of:</li>
<li>Electrical systems and equipment</li>
<li>Doors and door hardware</li>
<li>Framing, hanging sheetrock and painting</li>
<li>Hanging acoustic ceiling tile and grid</li>
<li>Plumbing systems; both basic and complex</li>
<li>HVAC / Mechanical equipment</li>
<li>Assist trade supervisors in day-to-day routine, preventative and reactive maintenance</li>
<li>Read plans and blueprints in the performance of work</li>
<li>Promote, support, and participate in student recruitment and retention efforts</li>
<li>Support the efforts of the Director and Executive Director of Plant Operations</li>
<li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned</li>
<li>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:</li>
<li>Knowledge of the principles and methods of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance; of occupational hazards and safety precautions; and of industrial electrical equipment</li>

Title: 2nd Shift Custodian
Institution:&nbsp;Jackson State Community College
Job Summary
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with excellent benefits. Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities. 2nd Shift is scheduled Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. with a 1 hour meal break.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>40% - Sanitizing classrooms, doorknobs, desks, chairs, stairwell hand rails, and water fountains in the buildings located on main JSCC campus using EPA approved chemicals - (Essential)</li>
<li>15% - Cleaning classrooms and restrooms using the proper chemicals - (Essential)</li>
<li>25% - Maintaining the floors in buildings on JSCC’s main campus by sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing. - (Essential)</li>
<li>10% - Moving furniture and set-ups/take downs including office moves, and moving unwanted furniture to surplus area or disposing of damaged furniture. - (Marginal)</li>
<li>10% - Clean blinds, walls, and baseboards. - (Marginal)</li>

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) and one-year minimum prior custodial work experience

Must have physical ability to perform essential job duties.
Pay Rate: $26,178 - $31,414 Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.
