This role will be accountable for ensuring management reporting for US CIO is accurate and complete, including but not limited to manco reporting, technology strategy metrics & updates and technology scorecards. This role will coordinate with US technology team and external stakeholders such as business management and Human Resources to support the requests for technology staff and senior management.
As our IT Project Manager you will:
- Interface with GBGF teams across the US to provide support, expertise and consultancy for US Technology
- Financial & Commercial activities covering
- Global contracts and associated recoveries
- Timesheet, Billing and Recharge Accuracy
- GPDM BP Ownership
- Business Continuity Planning related activates
- Resource Management
- Timesheet Management and Tracking.
- Build strong relationships with IT and other GBGF Business Management Teams, using own expertise & experience and adopting a joined up approach to execute change at pace and with minimum conflict.
- Coordinate and deliver effective MI to support decision making at key stakeholder meetings and Functional Exco’s.
- Contribution to a high performance culture through close team collaboration and adoption of collective responsibility.
- Use professional knowledge to identify and champion new, innovative or improved best practice.
- Take on and drive effective execution on a range of ad hoc projects and priorities that the US IT function is tasked with
- Assist in role review, immigration requests, and contingency worker onboarding for technology
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $78,700.00 and $118,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

RequirementsYou´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management; financial background a plus
- Ability to coordinate across conflicting requests and prioritize competing demands
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A good knowledge of the US technology, and the broader organization, and its strategy, internal policies, and procedures is preferable
- Ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at the most senior level in the organization
- Necessity to make robust/tough decisions that may be contrary to others’ wishes and ability to prioritize competing demands
- Strong leadership and program management ability, developing and motivating cross-functional employees
- Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and maintain business and project deadlines
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
