Physical Requirements
This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; intermittently performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Shift
6:30am – 7:00pm; weekends & some holidays required.
Job Summary
The Patient Services Coordinator will work closely with the HOAs / DCNs to allocate staff throughout the enterprise. Duties will include entering employee schedules, answering calls from staff regarding sick call ins or tardiness, oversight of per diem pool staff and their working time requirements; and acting as a liaison with other departments to ensure staffing needs are met. The Patient Services Coordinator will also collaborate with management regarding staffing holes and coverage plans. Other duties include but not limited to the decedent affairs. Working closely with nursing staff, families of decedents, legal next of kin, completing the provisional report of death. Also, working closely with the corner’s office and funeral homes.
