Job Summary

Providing faculty and department staff with customer support in grant preparation and progress reporting requirements in liaison with Collaborative Grant Services.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Familiarity with grant administration and reporting (e.g., understand, interpret, and enforce University policies and a variety of sponsor guidelines and policies as they relate to grants administration), grant budget forecasting and financial monitoring (collaborates with CGS staff and Department Administrator to analyze programmatic financial needs and expense projections, review status of budgets and projections for sponsored projects, evaluate financial progress and communicate to department/center administrators), customer support (e.g., receives and responds to PI sponsored award requests, suggest appropriate and compliant resolutions, implement resolutions as needed), working with university database systems (e.g., CDEM), and use of Microsoft Office software products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
