We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary to support transactional lawyers in the Denver office. The position has a particular emphasis on Public Finance, Finance, and Real Estate. Your Role: 
As a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Finance Department, you will:
<ul>
<li>
Provide overall legal administrative support, including extensive document production and coordinating closing materials.
</li>
<li>
Ensure fee earners' daily time entries are drafted in accordance with firm and client guidelines; and enter information into firm systems in a timely fashion. Prepare new business intake forms and open new client matters.
</li>
<li>
Prepare and submit expense reimbursement diaries and process invoices.
</li>
<li>
Maintain schedules and calendars, make travel arrangements, update contacts, and do other work as needed.
</li>

Required Experience:
Requirements include technical proficiency at the advanced to expert level in Microsoft Office, particularly with Word. Superior organization is needed to oversee file maintenance. Top-notch accuracy, spelling, grammar and proofreading skills necessary. Requires the ability to handle meeting and travel arrangements and manage busy calendars. The position also involves the creation and editing of PDFs and Excel spreadsheets. A minimum of two years of experience in a legal environment or another professional environment, such as a financial institution, is required. Previous real estate transactional experience in a law firm a plus. Individuals with a strong background in advanced word processing are especially encouraged to apply.

Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and one-half of the hourly rate. The salary range is $60,000-$70,000, depending upon experience. This position might provide periodic remote work options after a period of successful acclimation to the firm. We are especially looking for an individual who is able to work until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Your Role: 
You will assume responsibility with minimal supervision, exercise initiative and judgment to make decisions within the scope of your assigned authority, and both champion and practice collaboration with all firm members and clients. The assistant will work collaboratively to anticipate and respond timely to the needs of the assigned LAA Team and its included fee earners and clients. This position is hybrid and offers a work schedule of 3 days a week in the office.
As a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Private Client Services (Trusts &amp; Estates) team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Creating electronic files, preparing and processing correspondence, memoranda, and complex legal documents, and performing other administrative functions. 
</li>
<li>
Administrative duties include scheduling meetings and appointments and maintaining attorney calendars and contact information.
</li>
<li>
New client intake, and file maintenance utilizing the firm's electronic records management system.
</li>
<li>
Billing, travel coordination, and expense reimbursement.
</li>
</ul>

Experience with document management, time and billing systems, and DocuSign a plus.
