<h2>Job Description:</h2><h2>As a member of Fidelity's Engineering Operations team, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that equipment operates reliably and the uptime of the facility in maximized. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be self-performing or overseeing vendor-performed maintenance on critical equipment serving data centers and offices. You'll also coordinate or perform reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs in response to work orders. </h2><h2>The Expertise You Have </h2><ul><li>High School diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent required</li><li>3+ years of related facilities experience</li><li>2+ years of experience in a mission critical environment a plus</li><li>Experience with Building Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Controls systems.</li><li>Licensed in HVAC/Refrigeration or Electrical is a plus.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction documents and O&amp;M manuals.</li><li>Your knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, CMMS and BMS systems.</li></ul><ul><li>Comprehensive understanding of HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical industry standards, protocols, installations, and best trade practices, along with a working knowledge of electrical, fire safety and IT infrastructure.</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain procedures such as SOP, MOP etc.</li><li>You are highly organized and diligent to balance maintenance priorities and procedures.</li></ul><h2>Your Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Performs all preventive and remedial maintenance work on building mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems to assure critical distribution systems including the chiller plant, generators and UPS requirements are met with minimal adverse business impact.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to monitor multiple building systems, correcting deficient performance through BAS adjustments, on-site remedial maintenance and effective emergency response actions when required.</li><li>Direct and assist as necessary, vendors/contractors performing remedial repair activities.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work with and provide assistance to the engineering staff.</li><li>Utilizes tools, processes, procedures, and notifies/advises superiors as appropriate to ensure the consistent flow of information and activities.</li><li>Complete daily log entries / update engineering staff via email.</li><li>Assist with all department projects, plans and improvements.</li><li>Support Fidelity's ISO-14001 Environmental Management System, ISO-27001 Information Security Management and SSAE-16/18 regulatory reporting requirements</li><li>Demonstrates ability to switch to standby generators and bypass UPS systems when an electrical alarm or failure occurs, consistent with procedures, communicating all actions taken through the escalation process.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to employ both an electrical riser and one-line diagram to locate, employ or correct faulty electrical circuits and related protective devices.</li></ul><ul><li>Completing all critical maintenance on time and with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to be on-call or work extended hours as needed.</li></ul>Fidelity Investments is #hiring in Boston MA.
