Job Duties:
Reports directly to the Dean of Arts and Humanities and is responsible for the following: • Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice in English. • Incorporates a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing educational experiences, experiential backgrounds, and learning styles to assist them in meeting course competencies. Evaluates students’ progress toward stated course competencies and informs them of their progress in a timely manner. • Provides quality and timely access to students and communicates availability though appropriate methods such as posted campus/office hours and electronic communication. Maintains professional relationships with colleagues, students, and the community. • Participates in non-teaching assignments including instructional development, academic advising, student orientation, registration assignments, college-wide and/or division activities and committees, professional development, internal and external service, and other assigned responsibilities determined in consultation with the Dean. • This position requires teaching a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester, or a minimum of 30 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters combined. Teaching assignments may include teaching synchronously or asynchronously to one or more of the college’s campuses, online, or some combination thereof, based on the needs of the students.

Job Summary

Job Duties:
• Teach Class A, CDL training to students from a variety of backgrounds. Must be present on campus or training site for teaching. • Comply with all state and federal CDL/DOT requirements. Job Summary
Part-time adjunct appointment in the Nurse Aide program with opportunity to teach at all BCTC campus locations, including Workforce Solutions. Faculty will primarily teach state Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) and Medication Aide classes in addition to proctoring and evaluating the SRNA performance exam.
