This position focuses on assisting with program planning, mentorship, and creating a safe and engaging environment for participants. The Assistant Coordinator will work with adults and youths to promote personal growth, skill development, and positive social interactions.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Research and identify community resources as related to specific program workshop topics geared towards enhancing individuals’ personal well-being, including healthy relationships, financial literacy, substance use prevention, job readiness, stress management, etc.</li><li>Co-facilitate/facilitate workshops and activities as indicated by the Director.</li><li>Provide transportation to external forums, trainings and workshops.</li><li>Provide mentorship to help individuals build self-esteem and confidence.</li><li>Attend weekly supervision and staff meetings.</li><li>Remain current with all agency required compliance documents and trainings.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned by the Community Outreach &amp; Engagement Coordinator.</li></ul>Salary: $42,500/yr. &nbsp; Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in a related field is a plus.
